Does anyone know if I was to make a macro to work while SDX4 is active to work with the design that is in the windodow would it mess up SDX4. I have several team designs that are of the same look(made off a template that I made up) but with different names and colors. Each design would consist of my template then a macro that I make that after i changed the text would  weld then apply the outline effect #6 and then the change all the outline miter width to 0.1. (yes I realize that it will cause the outline to have some funny tips in certain areas but on the flame that I'm using this outline miter  looks awesome). Then I want it to open to the swap color window for me the change colors. I realize it isn't many steps but after doing 20 teams and now I want to apply the same effect to 20 more teams it would be beneficial for me to automate this process a little more. Thanks!

Currently it is not possible to automate Smart Designer, but most Corel Macros will not interfere with Smart Designer. I say most, because I have found one that will called recent files. A great Macro, but it's dialog can confuse some SD features.

SDX5 will allow you to create presets that can be executed via VBA, VSTA, Javascript and many other languages. Can't say much more on that for now.

Just be aware that only one macro can be run at a time and sometimes other applications and even Corel's own auto save can mess things up.
