When I'm in the clipart browser I am able to see all files that I need to but for some reason the corel files that I created over the past couple of weeks are not showing the correct colors. I think they are showing the colors that I made in the original template. Not the colors that I changed them to in the final file and saved. Is there a way to update the thumbnail? I reviewed the files that I made with this same template not all of the files do this but quite a few are. These are baseball teams so the correct color is fairly important especially with a potential team customer looking over my shoulder. I hope that I'm making myself a little clearer than mud. Thanks!

You can export the file as a BMP at 256X256 pixels (Corel X4's native preview size) with the same name as the Template. (myfile.cdr and myfile.bmp) The colors can change based on the color profile you are using and just the fact that they are being converted to RGB. Also use ant-aliasing.

Since previews before X4 were of very poor quality, we made all templates with BMP previews. Example, when browsing files and you encounter a file named myfile.cdr and a file with the name myfile.bmp exists in the same folder it will use the BMP file for the preview, otherwise the internal thumbnail of the CDR is used.

This only works with CDR's. The previews are only created when you create a new template and are not updated if you change the CDR file. I will put updating previews on the list of things to do. In the custmer database they will change in most situations. If it doesn't just open the file and save it again to the datbase.
